![]() Volt is a peripheral device used by software for audio I/O. After selecting Volt as the audio interface for the software, the software can directly access and route Volt’s I/O. With some audio software - such as a DAW (digital audio workstation) - you need to choose the device to use for audio I/O. Volt can be set as the input and output (I/O) device for system sound in the operating system (macOS/Windows) settings. System sound is used by software such as music players, web browsers, and conferencing software, as well as system alert sounds. Your unique claim codes are provided in UA Connect along with links to the software providers for downloading and licensing the software. You’ll use the UA Connect software application to register your Volt and redeem the bundled audio software.
